Meet our Team

Valentine Ugbeide

Mr. Valentine Ugbeide is the Executive Chairman, Moore Oil. He also served as Director
and member of the board of Globestar Engineering (Subsea7) from October 2008 to 17th
of February 2014. He is presently serving as the Managing Director/Chief Executive of
Gremoore Limited. He graduated from the University of Benin with B.Eng, Mechanical
Engineering in 1998.

Valentine Ugbeide has 20 years’ experience working in the Nigerian Oil Industry. His career
started at the turn of the century when he started work as Service Operator for Halliburton.
He very quickly distinguished himself and rapidly progressed from this position to Field
Service Supervisor in 2002, Technical Professional in 2004, Senior Technical Professional
in 2005 and Business Development Manager in 2006.

In 2008, Valentine crossed over to Acergy(now Subsea7) where he worked as the Sales
and Marketing Manager. He held this position until 2011 and he was then promoted to
Director Commercials and, he was appointed to the board of Globestar
Engineering/Subsea7 as the first African Director of Subsea7 worldwide.

Valentine is a member of the Pipeline Professional Association of Nigeria, Lagos Chamber
of Commerce & Industry, Petroleum Contracting Trade Session, Nigeria Association of
Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He also
served as the Chairman Subsea7 Nigeria Cooperate Social Responsibility and the AFGOM
strategic management Team for Subsea7.

Henry D. Oki

Mr. Henry D. Oki is the Executive Director of Moore Oil. Prior to this role, he was
Managing Director of Halliburton Energy Services Nigeria Limited and Vice-President
Halliburton West Africa. He had held several senior regional management positions within
the Halliburton organization in the Europe and Sub-Sahara area.

Henry Oki has 13 years’ experience working in the Nigerian Oil Industry. Henry started as
an associate technical professional with Halliburton and was trained at the Halliburton
Technical Excellence Center in Duncan Oklahoma where he emerged over all best student
in 2003. The Halliburton technical excellence center is a state-of-the-art training institute
where students are trained on the comprehensive total well delivery package i.e., from
exploration to first oil. Henry later proceeded to complete a number of advanced technical
courses at the Petro-Skills institute in Houston and later returned to Nigeria to put his
newfound knowledge to the test.

Henry Oki worked up his ways through the ladder, attaining the highest technical position
in the organization before making a switch to major accounts management and later into
operations management. In 2007, he was promoted to the role of a Technical
Advisor/Business Development leader, in this role; he was involved in business
development and other technical related issues. Henry’s success story today is heralded
in the back-to-back awards and execution of multiple deep-water contracts for a number
of Halliburton’s product lines i.e. Shell Bonga, Chevron Agbami and TOTAL AKPO.

Henry is a member of SPE, some of his notable achievements that he is being celebrated
for today include the successful turning around of several under-performing products lines
in Halliburton today into large profitable ventures and attaining the number market
position for 3 consecutive years, he led the setting up of the Halliburton Ghana and Ivory
Coast base, first Nigerian Country Manager, first TOTAL fluids manager, first manager in
Europe Sub-sahara Africa to attain the 25% gender diversity target in the company
employing over 100 females in the company last year amongst other notable
achievements.

Olusheyi F. Tomoye

Mr. Olusheyi Tomoye is the Executive Director, Moore Oil. He also served as member of
the NNPC Management Committee for Olokola LNG Pipeline Project from 2006 to 2008. He
is presently serving as the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Octa Energy Limited. He
graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife with B.Sc, Chemical Engineering in
1992.

Olusheyi Tomoye has 26 years’ experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry, with 21
years working for Chevron Corporation in multi-functional roles such as Manager-Offshore
and Major Capital Projects, Base Business Manager-Nigeria and Mid-Africa business unit,
Supervisor-Production Operations and Planning, Manager- Surface Production Operations
– Performance Management, Contract Administration and Business Management. He has
9 years international experience working with Chevron Corporation in the UK, USA, and
France.

Olusheyi possesses strong expertise in improving oil/gas production, well reliability and
optimization, lean six-sigma, surface equipment reliability and integrated production
systems. He is an excellent communicator with strong analytical/problem solving skills and
can manage multiple deliverables simultaneously. Some key roles and functions he has
played in his Chevron career include:

Managing new field development projects carried out in Houston and Nigeria, in
collaboration with the Offshore Asset Team, developing both tactical and strategic
objectives for adding value to and conducting portfolio of capital projects.
Interfacing with Chevron Mid-Africa leadership to ensure alignment of Annual Production
Plans, Reliability and Efficiency Plans with overall Business Unit Objective; Identifying,
prioritizing and developing surface equipment reliability, integrity and production
processes that support the company’s business objectives and strategies
Managing key stakeholders within Chevron and Joint Venture Partners to enable
mobilization and execution of works under several contracts for major capital projects.

Olusheyi has obtained Certificate in Strategic Leadership in 2013 from Southern Methodist
University, Dallas, TX, USA. He has also completed the following professional certification.

Chevron USA; Surface Production Operations Engineering – Louisiana State University
