Joint Operator Egbolom Marginal Field

Overview

Following the issuance of PPL 202 and in compliance with the directives of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Moore Oil Exploration and Production, along with its co-licensees, collaboratively established a special purpose entity known as Ingentia Energies Limited (“Ingentia”) to oversee operations at the Egbolom field.

Ingentia is collectively owned by all licensees holding interests in PPL 202, with shareholding structured to reflect their respective participating interests.

The opportunity is a Marginal Field located onshore within PPL 202, 35km SW of Port Harcourt and 18km NE of Soku field. The block is bounded by highly prolific assets to the
north, south, east and west by Idama field, Buguma Creek, Nembe/Okoroba field and Egbema Field.

The 2005 farmor reserve summaries corroborated with the 2010 DPR Certified P2 Reserves indicate STOIIP of 296 MMbbls, with 88 MMbbls ultimate recovery and GIIP of 184 bcf, with 76 bcf ultimate recovery. The Egbolom Oil and Gas Marginal Field has a potential production capacity of 25,000BOE/day production at a plateau. The oil is typically light, with crude API ranges between 300 and 400 API.

The Asset-GIG discovery is an east-west trending rollover structure associated with a south-heading growth fault, which forms its northern boundary. The field was discovered on a 2-D seismic data, but refined interpretation had been carried out using 3-D seismic data with key horizons being mapped at the intermediate and deeper levels with the new data.
